TUMBLE TOTS weekly playgroups: Tumble Tots is Britain's leading National Active Physical Play Programme and is especially designed for children from 6 months to 5 years. We use specifically designed equipment so that your child can learn agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination skills in a safe and fun environment. The equipment and class content is changed every two weeks, so there is always something new to learn at Tumble Tots. Not only do we focus on the physical side your child's development, but also listening and language skills. Our circle times provide fun and stimulation through song, dance and interaction with the help of original Tumble Tots music and poems. Our friendly team have many years of experience, are fully trained in first aid and are CRB Checked. They are always available to help and encourage the children and also to listen to any concerns that parents/carers may have. All our centres carry Public and Products Liability and Employee Indemnity Insurances.

Tumble Tot Classes: Gymbabes classes are tailor made for babies who are crawling and to encourage walking. With parental participation, babies are gently persuaded to use their senses, to play and explore through a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Our circle time provides massage and exercise to help develop and strengthen muscles and co-ordination.

Tumble Tots classes fall into three categories: Walking to 2 years, 2 to 3 years and 3 to 5 years. As your child develops under our supervision, the programme becomes far more structured to cater for their increasing abilities and strengths:

Walking to 2 years: These classes offer the opportunity to explore through free play a wide variety of movement experience. With the assistance of parents/carers, the classes stimulate body awareness and encourage the child to attempt climbing, jumping and rolling.

2 to 3 years: Still with parental assistance, but using advanced pieces of specialist Tumble Tot equipment, classes are more structured and based upon activity stations. Classes are designed to develop agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination skills. Children are also encouraged to develop their listening skills and participate vocally when asked.

3 to 5 years: The aim in these classes is to boost self-esteem and self-confidence in preparation for school. As the child is now more independent, they take part without the help of the parent/carer. Task sequences become more challenging to further develop the child's co-ordination, body awareness and controlled movement. This age group now learns to listen to direction and remember simple instructions in sequential order.

Special Needs Children with special needs are very welcome at our sessions. Over the years, many children have been recommended to attend our classes by their paediatrician or physiotherapist, particularly those with dyspraxia.

Tumble Tots is also a great way for parents/carers to meet new friends and also to keep fit and active with their child!

Tumble Tots has been running successfully for over 30 years and is the winner of Tommy's Let's get Baby Friendly Awards "Best Children's Activity Provider" .
